Division 7 has a group of members involved in the NMRA Achievement Program (AP). Many modelers are pursuing AP points and Certificates. Mr. Frank Koch is our Division 7 chairman. Please contact him with any questions.
At each meeting Division 7 holds a monthly contest on a variety of subjects. As this page evolves we hope to have pictures of the models for the previous month. We will maintain the results for each month and a year to date standings for the points. The Rules for the contest can be found on the Contest Rules page. Jack Laubisch is our contest Chairman. There was no contest held in June. The competition categories originally scheduled for June (Models: Hoppers (with or without loads) OR Covered Hoppers… and also Photos: Diesel OR Steam Locomotives) will be held at the August 8th meeting. This will be a “Double Competition” as we will also have a separate competition in the categories originallyscheduled for August. (Models: Cabooses… and Photos: Railroad Signs and/or Signals (cannot be on rolling stock-rather, as seen on MOW equip., structures, bridges, etc.) Two full contests… twice the opportunity to win!!!.
