Monthly Meetings

Our January 2026 gathering is Sun, Jan 11 at the Dunham Recreation Center near Queen City Ave in Ohio. Dave Traut from the Cincinnati Museum Center will share a presentation on “The Cincinnati Southern Railroad”. We'll also feature our re-scheduled Snackfest Celebration with snacks and beverages provided by the Division. Afterwards, we'll tour the layouts of Jerry Strangarity and Keith Corman.

We'll conduct 2 contests - the postponed Dec contest and the regularly scheduled Jan contest. The rescheduled contest from Dec is "Box, Stock or Refrigerator Car". Our regularly scheduled January model and photo contest topic is "Any Passenger Train Car". See Contest tab for details and entry categories. Our February 2026 gathering is on Sun, Feb 1 at the Cincinnati North Holiday Inn in West Chester, Ohio. Note this is a week earlier than usual to avoid the Super Bowl on Feb 8. Special Guest Bob Frankrone will share a presentation on the “Creating Operations on the Louisville Southern Lines”. Afterwards, we'll tour the layouts of Chris Shackleton (our first visit) and another TBD.

Our 2026 Cinti Div. 7 Spring Flea Market and Trade Show will be from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2025 in the main gym of the Lakota West Freshman Campus at 5050 Tylersville Rd, West Chester, OH 45069. This is a fun and popular sales-only event (no layouts or displays) to buy and sell new and not so new model railroad items from dealers and individuals.
