Monthly Meetings

Our December gathering is Sun, Dec 14 at the Mt. Carmel American Legion Hall in Ohio. This is our Annual Electronic Slides and Snackfest Celebration. Please bring your electronic slides (typically in JPEG format) on a thumb drive to share with everyone. Your pictures do not need to be contest quality, we just want to enjoy them. John Burchnall will moderate the proceedings. Afterwards, we'll tour the home layouts of Roy Allan and Leo Honebrink (our first visit).

Our model and photo contest topic is "Box, Stock or Refrigerator Car". See Contest tab for details and entry categories. We'll also conduct our popular Company Store, Video Library and Raffle. Our January 2026 gathering is Sun, Jan 11 at the Dunham Recreation Center near Queen City Ave in Ohio. A representative from the Cincinnati Museum Center will share a presentation on “The Cincinnati Southern Railroad”. Afterwards, we'll tour the layouts of Jerry Strangarity and Keith Corman.

Our February 2026 gathering is on Sun, Feb 1 at the Cincinnati North Holiday Inn in West Chester, Ohio. Note this is a week earlier than usual to avoid the Super Bowl on Feb 8. Special Guest Bob Frankrone will share a presentation on the “Creating Operations on the Louisville Southern Lines”. Afterwards, we'll tour the layouts of Patrick Stanley and Chris Shackleton (our first visit).
